Neil Willies Insurance Brokers, based in Studley, has won a prestigious national award. The Warwickshire based insurance brokers fought off competition from all over the UK to win the Willis Commercial Network Differentiate to Succeed initiative.

The competition challenged local insurance brokers from all over the UK to create trading ideas that would help them stand out from their competitors. Neil Willies' innovative "Five a Day" proposal sees the broker collaborating with global insurer RSA in order to simplify the process of buying small business insurance. Essentially, it is possible for a small business to get a quote by answering five simple questions. Willis Networks' Managing Director, Sara Fardon enthused "Neil's entry into the initiative was well thought out, realistic and supported one of our key partners; a testament to our strong relationships with our insurance partners." 

Managing Director, Neil Willies commented, "I am absolutely delighted to have won the competition, partly for the kudos it creates amongst my peers, but mainly because it has created a great product to help me serve the local business community."

The Differentiate to Succeed initiative was part of Willis Networks' ongoing commitment to help its member's grow their businesses. Major investment in the networks' marketing support infrastructure over the last 24 months will be further boosted by expanding the team this year.

Today, Willis Commercial Network Live, The Network's annual one day conference, held in The Willis Building, London, attracted over 180 independent brokers who came to hear plans defining the Network's vision and to meet with the Willis Networks team to discuss ways that Willis can help them grow and develop their businesses.

The audience was addressed by Tim Wright, CEO, Willis International and Dan Wilkinson, CEO, Willis UK Retail, reinforcing the importance of the Willis Networks to Willis' global strategy. This morning, Sara Fardon, MD, Willis Networks outlined the strategy to grow the Networks' organically via investing in sales skills, marketing resource and working with its insurer partners to achieve profitability for all parties.
